2003 Leaf Certified Mirror Gold 100-Card Uncut Sheet - Only Known Example
2003 Leaf Certified Mirror Gold 100-card baseball uncut sheet is blank-backed and the holo cards have two white lines opposite the team logo at bottom which were intended as cutouts for a uniform jersey swatch. Sheet measures approximately 28x40" and features the likes of Derek Jeter, Ichiro, Don Mattingly, Albert Pujols, Roger Clemens, Edgar Martinez, Alfonso Soriano, Aaron Sele, Roy Halladay, Juan Gonzalez, and many more. The sheet is the only one of its kind that we're aware of and has an even greater scarcity, as five cards on the sheet have unfinished backgrounds and are marked with an X from corner to corner, likely indicating that the player was dropped from the set before mass production. The Mirror Gold cards were a limited edition serial numbered insert of /25 with the Leaf series; other premium inserts included a blue, a red, and a black version, and one uncut sheet of each of those is available elsewhere in this auction.
