James has been commissioned by prestigious companies, galleries, museums, political, entertainment, and sports personalities. James has worked with Yogi Bera, Cal Ripken Jr., Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Greg LeMond, and many additional stars of today. His artistic ability has evolved into more than just a childhood hobby. Included in his diverse collection are photo-realistic portraits ranging from sports figures and celebrities to everyday life and this beautifully illustrated piece with an image of Joe Di Maggio with his arm around a laughing Ted Williams is just that. The detail and line work is incredible and the colors are vibrant and rich. The watercolor and ink painting was part of a redemption card from the Upper Deck Company and the original redemption card is included in the lot.
