2004 Boston Red Sox Owners World Series Trophy

2004 Boston Red Sox Owners World Series Trophy

The day had finally come - the “curse” had been broken by… a bunch of self proclaimed “Idiots,” and it was glorious on the way. The Boston club did what had never been done before, coming back from a 3-0 deficit to the New York Yankees in the League playoff series, as well as going 14 innings in game 5 of that ALCS. They then swept the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series to claim the title. This World Series Trophy is a beauty and is an exact match to one awarded to Sox owners. It stands 25” where its tallest flag pole of thirty peaks, and weighs 28 pounds. Silver base reads “Boston Red Sox 2004 World Series Champions,” while gold round above it has “Presented by the Commissioner of Baseball.”
