2004 Boston Red Sox World Champions Signed Photo

2004 Boston Red Sox World Champions Signed Photo

The story goes something like this: the great Boston Red Sox, of the Dead Ball Era, win the World Series of 1903, 1912, 1915, 1916, and 1918, and then proceed to trade Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees, thus exposing the ball club to the Curse of the Bambino, a black cloud from which they finally step out from under in 2004, when the self-proclaimed “Idiots” wild-card their way into the playoffs, nail-bitingly and historically (only three teams in professional sports with best-of-seven playoffs have ever come back when down 3-0) oust their New York arch-rivals in the ALCS, and eventually and rightfully dominated the St. Louis Cardinals for the World Series win. This over-sized photo (24x20”) of that 2004 World Series victory pile-on, is NRMT, and a colorful jewel, with vibrantly blue-Sharpied signatures (9-10/10), including Schilling, Ramirez, Ortiz, Damon, Varitek, Nixon, Foulke, Wakefield, Mueller, Francona, Roberts, Bellhorn, and Mientkiewicz.
