Highly coveted Rolex GMT Master II watch originates from the collection of Cleveland Browns' star quarterback Frank Ryan. This is the steel version of the GMT Master II series, selfwinding and pressure-proof with black dial and third hand for another time zone. In NRMT condition, back plate has engraved, "Frank Ryan - Cleveland Browns - Quarterback - Legend - 1962-68," indicating his playing tenure in Cleveland. Comes not only in original green display box, but with original paperwork certifying that this was purchased and shipped to Ryan on 10-18-2005, with full instructions and cleaning cloths. Before the NFL-AFL merger, Ryan was a Pro Bowl selection from 1964-66 and threw three touchdowns in leading the Browns to the NFL Championship in 1964 with a 27-0 drubbing of Don Shula's Baltimore Colts.
