2005 Trevor Hoffman San Diego Padres Game Worn Jersey
Before he was passed by Mariano Rivera this past season, Trevor Hoffman stood atop the heap as the Major League's all-time leader in saves. This San Diego Padres home uniform was worn by Hoffman on October 2, 2005, when he recorded his 436th career save. It was obtained at the game during the "shirt off their back" promotion, is solid white double-knit with "Padres" in navy blue script with gold trim across the front. It has a Padres patch on the right sleeve, and and "The Padres Foundation for Children" patch on the left sleeve. The name "HOFFMAN" is sewn on a plate above the number "51" on back, and Hoffman's name is signed on the "1" in 9/10 silver Sharpie. The tag on the bottom front is designated as MLB Authentic, made by Majestic Athletic, size 50, with the year 2005, and the jersey shows use and is in Very Good to Excellent condition (JSA).
