2006 Robinson Cano New York Yankees Signed Game Worn Jersey (Resolution Photo-Matched & Steiner)
<span style="font-family: Verdana;"></span>Robinson Cano began his MLB career playing second base for the New York Yankees in 2005. A year later, he finished third in the A.L. batting race after hitting .342 with 165 hits. This lot features Cano’s signed and game worn New York Yankees gray (road) jersey from a game against the Minnesota Twins at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in which he recorded a pair of singles and scored two runs. Despite Cano’s efforts, the Yankees dropped a 6-5 decision that evening. The jersey has been photo-matched by Resolution Photomatching to the game in question through a conclusive photo match based on loose and fraying threads on the custom-stitched numbers on the back of the jersey. The gray away jersey reads “NEW YORK” across the front in Navy blue tackle twill outlined in white with the Authentic Collection Majestic manufacturer’s tag sewn on the left front tail with a size “48” tag adhered to the bottom. The back of the jersey shows Cano’s uniform number “22” in eight-inch tall blue tackle twill outlined in white. He signed his name across the middle of the second “2” in silver. Comes with a Letter of Photo-match from Resolution Photomatching as well as autograph BAS and Steiner Collectibles.
