2007-2009 Mike Trout Tri-State Arsenal AAU Game Worn Signed Jersey and Hat (PSA)

2007-2009 Mike Trout Tri-State Arsenal AAU Game Worn Signed Jersey and Hat (PSA)

Offered is the opportunity to possess possibly the earliest known Mike Trout jersey, dating from 2007-09, and having been signed by Trout. The jersey is from the Tri-State Arsenal, one the most prestigious travel programs in the American Northeast, and a team that Trout played for when in high school. Also included is a Mike Trout signed Arsenal hat from the same period. The gray polyester jersey reads "Arsenal Baseball" across the chest. The neck has a tag that shows the manufacturer "Game Gear" and indicates that the shirt is size XL. The back has a black number "1," in white trim. On this numeral, Trout has personalized, using a marker with silver ink, "Tri-State Arsenal C/U." The accompanying gray hat has a black bill and a white letter "A" on the brim. On the back of the hat is "Arsenal" in black lettering. A tag on the inside hatband shows the hat is a "MED - XL," a stretch "7 3/8 - 8." Another tag on the back of the inside hatband shows the manufacturer as "Pacific" and the style as "Pro Series." This tag also shows the hat to be "87% acrylic, 11% wool, and 2% Spandex." Using a silver marker, Trout has signed the bill of the cap "Mike Trout" and he has inscribed "Tri-State Arsenal." Trout was an amazing player during his high school years at Millville High School, in southern New Jersey. During this time he was playing in the famous Area Code Games in Southern California and Trout went 6-for-11 against some of the toughest high school age pitchers in the nation. Los Angeles Angels' scout Greg Morhardt, who had played with Trout's father in the minor leagues, said that he thought Trout was the fastest and strongest 17-year-old he had ever seen. Of course, the Angels drafted, and signed Trout, and he has been a terrific contributor. After the Angels have played 59 games into the 2022 season, Trout has a lifetime batting average of .304, and he has a tremendous career OPS of 1.001. He has been the AL MVP three times. The center fielder was a Rookie of the Year (2012), a 9-time All-Star, and an 8-time Silver Slugger. Trout is playing his 12th Major League season, all with the Los Angeles Angels. At the conclusion of the 2022 season, Trout will be only 31 years old, and he has the possibility of producing eye-popping career numbers by the time he eventually retires. This signed and inscribed Trout jersey, and its accompanying signed and inscribed cap, are both in excellent condition, and they are already rare, possibly unique, valuable memorabilia, and their value should continue to rise over the coming years. Comes with individual full LOAs from PSA for both the jersey and hat.
