2007 Boston Red Sox World Series Championship Ring
Having "reversed the curse" three years prior, the Boston Red Sox entered 2007 with their demons fully exorcised. Powered by an all-star lineup featuring David Ortiz, Mike Lowell, Manny Ramirez and rookie Dustin Pedroia, the Sox played good baseball throughout, striking first in the AL East in mid-April and never relinquishing their lead. Their tour de force that year did experience some anxious moments in the ALCS, however, as the Cleveland Indians had them on the ropes heading into Game 5 after going up 3-1, but with their ace Josh Beckett on the hill, the Sox won handily, then steamrolled the Indians two more times to advance. They continued to cruise in the World Series, sweeping the Colorado Rockies en route to their 7th of eight World Series titles. This gorgeous ring commemorating their victory that year boasts an impressive 13 diamonds inside a baseball field, with the Red Sox logo in the foreground containing eight rubies. An additional 29 diamonds surround the words "World Champions." The interior band reads "Boston Red Sox, 10-28-07" and "Jostens 14k." The left shank denotes that it was their 7th World Series championship, while the right shank displays the Boston logo in the middle of two World Series trophies. Comes in original cherry wood presentation box and is NRMT. Size 7 1/2 ring weighs 65.4 grams.
