2007 Mike Piazza Oakland Athletics Game Used Jersey
Over his 15-year career, Mike Piazza came to be considered one of the best-hitting catchers of all time. This jersey, worn by Piazza during his final major league season, is the first of its kind our experts have encountered. The gray button-front Oakland A's road jersey has "Oakland" across the front in Oakland’s green on gold lettering, with Piazza's number 31 on both front and back. "PIAZZA" is sewn in individual letters on a nameplate on the back below a green and gold MLB logo patch on the back yoke. The left sleeve features the team's green fancy-elephant patch. Majestic size 50 tag is heat-applied to the left front tail, a Cool Base flag tag is sewn in the left seam, and a 0063 wash tag is sewn inside the left seam. Jersey shows nice use, and is certainly a unique piece from a future Hall-Of-Famer.
