2008 Aaron Ross Super Bowl XLII New York Giants Game Worn Helmet (Photo-Matched)
Own a piece of Super Bowl history with this photo-matched New York Giants helmet, worn by cornerback Aaron Ross in Super Bowl XLII in Phoenix, Arizona. Metallic blue base color has white lowercase NY decal on each side, red stripe down the middle, number 31 on either side of the stripe on front and back, and American flag decal near the rear number. Also included are an NFL shield decal, another with the Super Bowl logo, along with a memorial number 21 in black circle. Riddell helmet shows great use with scuffs and wear to the face shield located inside the mask, which itself shows some gouges to the rubberized coating. Number 31 decal is also inside along with size L sticker. Of course, that Super Bowl was one for the ages, as the heavily favored New England Patriots saw their dreams of becoming only the second team in NFL history to complete an undefeated season, with the G-Men capturing a tight 17-14 victory.
