2008 Brad Lidge Philadelphia Phillies Game Worn Photo-Matched World Series Jersey
Phillies closer Brad Lidge capped his perfect 2008 season with a save in the deciding fifth game of the World Series on October 29, 2008, as the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Tampa Bay Rays to become the 2008 World Series Champions. This home jersey is the precise one that Lidge was wearing when the last out of that fifth game was made! Lidge was on the mound to record the save -- his seventh in postseason play and 48th for the season overall -- and the celebration photos are now etched. Jersey has Lidge's name lettered on the back and is autographed in black sharpie on his number 54. "2008 World Series Game Used" is printed in sharpie on the back, and " '08 W.S. Champs!" is printed on the number in sharpie. A World Series 2008 patch appears on the right sleeve, with "54" on the left sleeve. Majestic size 48 heat applied tag on front left tail; wash tag on left inside seam. Also included are the uniform pants autographed by Lidge on the left front below the waistband, with "2008 Season & World Series 'Game-Used' " printed below in black sharpie. Pants have Majestic tag and "54 Lidge 37-42 36 OB 08" sewn into waistband. Lidge's red mock turtleneck Nike thermal shirt has the MLB logo with "WS2008" ironed onto the neck and is also signed "Brad Lidge 54" just below the neck logo.
