2008 Clayton Kershaw MLB Debut Albert Pujols Foul Ball and Full Ticket (Fan Provenance)
Great story around this full game ticket and game used ball from the May 25, 2008, contest between the St. Louis Cardinals and Los Angeles Dodgers. The Official Major League (Selig) ball shows use with some smudging to the stamps and was fouled into the stands that day by the newest member of baseball's elite 700-Home Run club, Albert Pujols. Hand-written on a side panel is "Pujols Foul off Saito, 5-25-08, LA-4 StL 3, in 10." The game was also significant as the MLB debut of Clayton Kershaw, who allowed two runs on five hits while striking out seven in 6.0 innings of work. Full ticket from that game is included with "Kershaw's ML Debut" written on back in the same hand as the writing on the ball. Ticket rates in Good condition as it has been folded in half and has a crease in the top right corner, but all printing and images remain bright and clear.
