2008 Joe Girardi New York Yankees Game Worn Jersey
2008 marked the final year of the old Yankee Stadium and the first year of new Bombers manager Joe Girardi. The former catcher took the reins of baseball's most storied franchise and was one year away from guiding it to another World Series title. In his rookie season as Yankees skipper, Girardi wore this all-original home pinstripe model with number "27" on the back, 1923-2008 Yankee Stadium patch on the left sleeve and 2008 All-Star Game patch on the right sleeve. There is Majestic size 48 tagging inside the tail along with "2008" flag tag. "Authenticated by MLB and Steiner" holograms are attached. The jersey shows nice use and is signed on the front in 7.5/10 Sharpie: "Joe Girardi 1st Season Managing In The Bronx."
