2008 Mariano Rivera New York Yankees Signed and Inscribed Game Used Jersey
This jersey was worn on the last opening day at the legendary Yankee Stadium in 2008, the place that the Yanks called home for over eighty years. This jersey, worn by superstar teammate Mariano Rivera, features an autograph personalized by the pitcher. The size 48 white-and-black pinstripe button-down features its original Steiner and MLB holograms, as well as its Majestic and wash instruction tagging, with pro code 0062. On the left breast, the shirt bears a Yankees logo, and on the back, Mariano's number "43" is sewn on. A "2008" year tag is included. The shirt also comes with an All-Star Game patch on the right arm, and a "Yankee Stadium 1923 - 2008" patch on the left. The inscription on the jersey reads as following: "Mariano Rivera Game used Opening Day 4-1-08 Last Opening Day at Original Stadium" in blue Sharpie, and a second signature from Rivera on back is scrawled in silver marker over the "2."
