2008 Ron Swoboda Final Game at Shea Stadium Mets Jersey
During a 2008 ceremony commemorating the last ballgame played at New York's Shea Stadium, players from every era of Mets baseball were honored on the field, including Ron Swoboda, whose diving catch helped the team upset Baltimore during the unforgettable 1969 World Series. Swoboda wore this replica home pinstripe jersey during the ceremony. It features the familiar angled blue and orange script "Mets" across the front with a blue #4 below the last two letters. Swoboda's signature is in the lower-left portion of the jersey in blue Sharpie and "Final Game Shea Stadium" is on the tail. The number "4" adorns the back, while one sleeve shows a Shea Stadium patch and the other the Mets logo. Comes with a New York Mets certificate of authenticity
