2011 Derek Jeter New York Yankees Game Worn Cleats (Steiner)
Offered is a (c) 2011 pair of Hall of Famer Derek Jeter's game used cleats. This is an excellent chance to possess the spikes of the iconic New York Yankee shortstop. They show excellent use - there are abrasions and scuff marks, and even remnants of dirt on some of the individual cleats. The cleats are Nike Jordan Jeter Cut Black/M Silver size medium 11.5. At the height of his career, Jeter made good use of his spikes as he stole 358 lifetime bases. He also had power, hitting 260 homers, and he hit .310 lifetime. Jeter could also field, winning five Gold Gloves. The New York captain played for 20 seasons (1995-2014), all with the Yankees. Despite all of his illustrious statistics, Jeter's best quality was his contagious drive to win. As he said, "My grandmother asks me to face down the street, I am going to try to beat her. And I'll probably enjoy it...." This competitive spirit led the Yankees to five World Series championships. The cleats have a silver colored #2 affixed to the back of each shoe.
