2011 New York Giants Super Bowl XLVI Championship Player's Ring (Player LOA)
This gorgeous ring from Super Bowl XLVI is living proof that the New York Giants are the New England Patriots' kryptonite. Meeting in the Super Bowl for the second time in four years, the Giants were considerable underdogs in the 2012 postseason finale, though not to the extent they were in 2008 when they derailed the Patriots perfect season. The G-Men had endured a glut of injuries during the regular season and limped into the playoffs at 9-7, but with a superior pass rush capable of getting to opposing quarterbacks at a moment's notice, the Giants were able to compensate for other weaknesses. The Patriots, meanwhile, were a juggernaut, as usual, with a regular season record of 13-3. The records proved irrelevant, however, as the Giants prevailed in a back and forth struggle by a score of 21-17. This 14k white gold ring was presented to Chad Jones, a multi-sport star who also won a BCS National Championship and College World Series while attending LSU. The inside of the ring is stamped "Finish, All In" and "T & Co, AU 585." The shimmering face has four Super Bowl trophies (representing the four Super Bowls the Giants have won) and the "NY" logo filled with diamonds. A bezel is circled with 37 blue sapphires and the ring comes in its original Tiffany box, as well as an LOA from Jones. The size 11 1/2 ring weighs 85.5 g.
