2012 Tim Teufel game worn New York Mets jersey donned for the only single-pitcher no-hitter in franchise history, by Johan Santana on June 1. Majestic size 46 tagging is just below a strip tag reading 18 46 '12 S1 (uniform #, size, year, set) on bottom left tail. Script Mets is across the chest, circular 50th Anniversary skyline logo with gold highlights is on the left sleeve, and the right has a home plate-shaped black patch with "Kid 8" in white letters, in memory of Gary Carter. Number 18 is on both front and back in blue-on-orange tackle twill, and it was worn as Santana has signed below the rear number in black fiber tip marker along with his number (51) and inscription, "Mets 1st No Hitter 6/1/12." With the franchise in its 50th season, fans of the Queens contingent had given up hopes of ever seeing a no-hitter until Santana broke the curse, dominating the St. Louis Cardinals in an 8-0 masterpiece, with Teufel taking part as a coach for the hosts.
