2014 Kanas City Royals American League Champions Ring (Berroa)
Sparkling 2014 Kansas City Royals American League Championship ring comes in original display box. Diamond studded face features the KC logo above a baseball "diamond" with the entire surface covered with genuine diamonds and diamond chips. Bezel reads American League Champions; left shank has the name Berroa (minor league coach) above engraved "MLB PLAYOFF RECORD" with two different sections reading "8" and "0" above the Royals' crown crest logo. Band is stamped Jostens 10k, ring is size 11 and weighs 50 grams; box is cherrywood color with glass top etched with KC crown logo, along with "Kansas City Royals/American League Champions." Ring is in spectacular NM-MT condition, box shows wear with some scrapes. The advent of MLB's Wild Card and Division Series era in 1995 provided a longer playoff season, with the Royals becoming the first team to run the table en route to the pennant, defeating the: Oakland Athletics (1-0, Wild Card), Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (3-0, ALDS), and Baltimore Orioles (ALCS, 4-0), becoming the first team to earn a perfect 8-0 record as reflected on the ring itself. Exceptional piece.
