2016 Aaron Judge Signed Game Used Bat (PSA GU 10, Photo-Matched)
Just days before he was called up to the Major Leagues, the man who would go on to become the 2017 American League Rookie of the Year and premier power hitter launched long balls for the AAA-Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Rail Riders of the International League. It was there that he signed this uncracked, game-used black bat and handed it to our consignor after a game at PNC Field. The right fielder signed his name in silver on the barrel, and the knob has an "AJ" sticker with gavel and Yankee pinstripes affixed. The Marucci AJ28 Custom Cut model measures 34.5" and weighs roughly 34.5 ounces, showing heavy use with pine tar. Judge made his big-league debut on August 13, 2016, and homered in his first at-bat. In his first full season of 2017, Judge shattered the Major League rookie record for home runs with 52, as well as the Yankee records for rookie homers and homers at Yankee Stadium (33), the latter two records having been previously held by legends Joe DiMaggio and Babe Ruth, respectively. Comes with PSA GU 10 LOA and a letter from the man who obtained it directly from Judge.
