Presented is an unusual collectible: A 2016 Sioux Falls Storm United Bowl Championship player ring. The Sioux Falls Strom originated as the Sioux Falls Corbas in 2000, and since then have been named the Storm. The team played in several indoor leagues and is currently in the indoor Football League (IFL). The team has been an indoor powerhouse, winning 11 championships. This ring was awarded after the Storm defeated the Spokane Empire in the United Bowl, the IFL's 2016 season Championship, by a score of 55-34. The player's name "Peguese" is engraved on the shank and his full name "Brandon Peguese" is engraved underneath. On the other shank is the Storm logo and the team motto "Culture Wins." Peguese, who played his college football at Hampton University, was an IFL All-Star defensive lineman in that 2016 season. In addition, in 2016 Peguese set the Storm single season record for tackles for a loss with 25.5. The visually striking ring is emblazoned with attractive simulated diamonds surrounding a red stone. There is a large roman numeral "X" on the ring face and the word "STORM" is imposed over the "X." This roman numeral represents the 10 times that the Storm have been league champions. Engraved around the face of the size 12.5 ring is "United Bowl Champions."
