2017 Dellin Betances New York Yankees Immaculate Inning Game Worn Jersey (MLB & Steiner)
Dellin Betances entered the game at Yankee Stadium in the eighth inning as the Yankees were down 2-0 to the Detroit Tigers. The game was just resuming after a 3 hour and 11-minute rain delay. Not only did Betances move the game along and keep the Yankees within striking distance, but he did his job perfectly as he used the minimum nine pitches to strike out three Tiger hitters, First, he struck out Jim Adduci on three pitches, the last being an 86-mph slider. Then Betances took care of Justin Upton on three pitches, the last being a 98-mph fastball. The last to hit was 2-time AL MVP Miguel Cabrera. Betances third pitch struck Cabrera out on a 86 mph slider, Betances perfect inning was the first for a Yankee pitcher since Brandon McCarthy did it on Sept. 17, 2004. The jersey exhibits the classic Yankee pinstripes. There is an interlocking NY on the left chest. The back shows the MLB logo at the neck and the number "68" beneath it. The jersey is in excellent condition and comes with MLB and Steiner Authentication.
