4 Ted Williams Signed 16 x 20's
Four handsome 16 x 20 photographs of the last player to hit over .400 in a season, Ted Williams, signed by "The Splended Splinter" himself. First is a classic shot of Williams with Joe DiMaggio at Fenway Park signed by Williams in blue ink, "The Best I Ever Saw, Ted Williams." The next two photos feature a face shot of Williams boldly signed in blue sharpie and Williams in the Red Sox dugout with a bat on his shoulder, signed in black ink and numbered 309/500. The final photograph shows Williams perfect swing and has a plaque beneath the photo with an engraving stating: "HR 76 of 521, Date: 8/7/41, Pitcher: Lefty Gomez, Ballpark: Fenway." Williams' signature is clear and in bold blue sharpie and reads, "Ted Williams, 521 Home Runs." The signatures average a "9.5" out of a possible 10. All four photographs are handsomely matted and framed and have superior clarity and contrast. Three are authenticated by Green Diamond and one by Upper Deck Authenticated. Photos are NRMT.
