7/13/02 Vladimir Guerrero HR #23 Montreal Expos Signed Game Used Bat (Sourced from Vlad's Agent)
Long before his phenom namesake took the Major Leagues by storm, Vladimir Guerrero, Sr. was tormenting opposing pitchers in his own right. Game used 2002 model EM1 Sam bat shows tremendous use with extensive pine tar use, ball markings, bat rack paint transfers, and the red handle is cracked. Measures 34" and weighs 32 ounces with Vlad's number 27 handwritten on the knob in gold Sharpie, and it is signed on the barrel and inscribed "HR #23." Dated to July 13, 2002, Guerrero's fifth inning solo homer off Atlanta Braves ace Tom Glavine helped lead the Montreal Expos to a 6-3 triumph at Olympic Stadium. Great game used piece from the Hall of Famer who went on to blast 449 career four-baggers.
