8/22/13 Andy Pettitte Last Career Win at Yankee Stadium Signed Heavily Inscribed Game Worn Jersey (Sports Investors Photo-Matched, MLB, & Steiner)
2013 New York Yankees home jersey was game worn for the final Major League victory at Yankee Stadium by Bronx favorite Andy Pettitte. White pinstriped jersey is front tagged 2012, size 50 Taper, with Yankees tag below. As usual, the interlocking NY logo on the left breast is the only adornment on the front, with the southpaw's heavily inscribed number 46 standing alone on back. Pettitte signed the number "4" in 7/10 silver Sharpie, and the "6" is inscribed with "Game Worn 8-22-13, Last Career Win at Yankee Stadium, 6IP 1ER 4H 3K." Nice use is evident with some dirt stains present; note that this jersey was previously framed, thus there are two areas of tape residue in the neck, evidence of staples on the front, and more mounting residue inside the hem. Pettitte's last Stadium victory was a 5-3 triumph over the Toronto Blue Jays, and he would proceed to win two more on the road, including his finale in a complete-game 5-hitter as the Yanks topped Houston in a 5-1 final.
