888 Sporting Times New York Giants Cigar Label (League Champions)
1888 New York Giants Smoke Sporting Times Cigar Trade Card. The card measures 4.5x7.5" and contains a sepia image of the 1888 League Champion NY Giants team. The image includes Hall of Famers John Ward; Tim Keefe; Buck Ewing; Mickey Welch; Jim O'Rourke; and Roger Conner. All player and manager names are listed on the card bottom. The reverse has a used ledger marked 1897 and 1898. The image of the Giants is bright and clean. The bottom of the card has areas of age spotting. The bottom edge has some paper loss/flaking including the bottom right corner. The bottom reverse shows an area of light water damage. The card presents very nicely despite the noted faults.
