9/16/08 Derek Jeter Signed Game Used Base from Record Breaking Game - Jeter Passes Lou Gehrig on Yankee Stadium Hit List (Steiner LOA & MLB Holo)
Signed game used base from the 2008 game in which one New York Yankees legend - Derek Jeter - passed another - Lou Gehrig - for most hits in Yankee Stadium with 1,270. MLB holo indicates that this was third base used in the 6th and 7th innings of the September 16 contest and shows great use with dirt. Anchor has been removed, plastic signs on each side are MLB I Live for This (2), New York Yankees, and The Final Season, in reference to the original Stadium. The Captain's distinctive signature in black marker is on top with the inscription "1270 Hits, 9-16-08, Passing Gehrig." Comes with Steiner LOA and hologram.
