The game was at Houston's Minute Maid Park, and the New York Yankees defeated the Astros 3-2, and Mariano did not appear in this game. Rivera liked to finish what others started. The Hall of Fame reliever finished more games, 952, than any other hurler in MLB history. He also had the most MLB saves ever, 652. "Mo" relied mainly on a cut fastball, which he used 82% of the time in his pitches from 2008-2013.
