9/30/01 Tom Brady First Career Start Ticket Stub, Program, and Parking Pass (PSA)
Nice assortment of game day items from the first career start of the legendary Tom Brady. 1) Ticket stub from the September 30, 2001 game, a 44-13 upset victory for Brady's New England Patriots over the Indianapolis Colts. Measures 3.375x2", with color background image of Foxboro Stadium. Encapsulated by PSA as STUB VG 3 (only 38 n PSA registry). 2) Parking pass in the form of a rearview mirror hang tag measures 4x9" on yellow card stock, listing date, home game number, and lot entrance. Encapsulated by PSA as PASS EX 5. 3) Game Day magazine/program from 9/30, EX with some cover creasing. A cover "headline" unironically reads, "Bledsoe simply terrific in finale." Indeed, it was his finale, as Brady refused to relinquish the reins for the remainder of his GOAT career. While that September 30 victory was an impressive upset, Brady mostly just held the fort with 13-for-23 passing for 168 yards; the Pats were dominant on the defensive side with four interceptions, including two pick-6 touchdowns. Our consignor attended the game and these are from that personal collection.
