The supplements were issued as an insert by The Sporting News starting in the July 22, 1909 issue and appearing sporadically until December 11, 1913 with 100 in total. This example of Mordecai Brown was issued on December 9, 1909. It shows a pitching Brown in wind-up follow through. Although technically Good, the offered card has amazing eye appeal and is the finest known example.
