909-1913 M101-2 Sporting News Supplement Chief Bender PSA VG-EX 4 (Pop 1 Highest Graded)
Near impossible grade for a 1909-1913 Sporting News Supplement, as PSA 4 is the highest grade for ANY player, and only two out of 189 total supplements achieved the grade (1%). Only this Chief Bender example and one McGraw have been bestowed with the VG-EX grade. The supplements were printed on extremely thin paper which makes them easily susceptible to damage. This example has a clear image of a pitcher Bender. The corners each have light touches while the edges are chip free but for one small chip along the mid-right border. There is a light corner crease in the upper left. The blank backed back is clean.
