928 Zeenut PCL Syd Cohen Jewish Ballplayer PSA Authentic
<p>1928 PCL Zeenut Syd Cohen Hand-Cut card. The card has been encapsulated by PSA and certified as Authentic. This is one of only two examples of this card listed in the PSA Population Report and the first we have ever offered. Syd Cohen was the brother of Andy Cohen, who played for the Giants in the late 1920s. Syd later made the Majors as well, pitching for the Washington Senators in 1934, 1936, and 1937. He returned to both play and manage in the minors for many years, eventually retiring from the game in 1957. <span style="font-size: 10pt;">The card features Cohen in a throwing pose.Three of the corners are missing while the remaining corner is severely rounded. The edges are rough. The reverse has scattered soiling upon its blank back.</span></p>
