966 Super Bowl I Green Bay Packers Championship Ring

Brilliant 1966 Green Bay Packers Super Bowl I Championship ring awarded to Packers assistant coach and former player (1953-1961) Bob Schnelker. Beautiful Jostens gold ring is highlighted by a diamond (tested genuine) set perfectly into the center with the surrounding words, "1966 World Champion Green Bay Packers." The shank of the ring features a Green Bay Packers helmet with the the year "1966" and the recipient's name "Schnelker" prominently engraved along with an NFL crest, "Green Bay 34 - Dallas 27" and "Green Bay 35 - Kansas City 10" on the opposite side. Measuring in at size 12, this scarce example has been fitted with a ring size reducer that appears to have been installed for years and looks right at home. Arguably the most complete Super Bowl I ring we've ever encountered, this beauty still retains its original Jostens ring box and small "Customer Service Department" note that all fit snugly into its cardboard box complete with Jostens labeling on the bottom that includes "Bob Schnelker" along order numbers and other Jostens markings. Historic ring is as attractive as it is significant and is a must for any NFL or Green Bay Packers collector/enthusiast. Believed to be 14k gold. Original Jostens stamp inside is not visible; perhaps due to a professional resizing sometime during its history.

Addendum: According to the ring box, it states ""RNG RPA N / C RING REPAIR", leading us to believe this ring was repaired. The extent of the repair is unknown.
