Aaron Pryor Championship Fight Worn Robe (vs. Antonio Cervantes)

On August 2,1980 Aaron Pryor met Antonio Cervantes for the Light Welterweight Title. Cervantes would box beautifully in the early going, but simply could not stand up to the relentless pressure applied by Pryor. Pryor would win the bout and the title with a 4th round TKO. Offered here is the fight robe used by Aaron Pryor in this fight with Cervantes in which he won the World Light Welterweight Title. The robe is black satin with white trim. On the back of the robe are the words SASSON AARON PRYOR with the symbol for Sasson. The robe is missing the sash. The robe has a hood and is knee length. The robe is in excellent condition. There is some slight soiling. Color remains bold. The robe comes with a letter of authenticity from Aaron Pryor.
