Albert Einstein and Rabin Tagore are seen together in this outstanding original glass plate positive. A very rare and captivating portrait of the two Nobel Prize Laureates, serene and pensive as they quietly converse. Tagore (1861-1941) of India won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913, and was a poet, educator and composer who greatly influenced Gandhi. Two of the greatest minds of the 20th century met in Berlin during the summer of 1930, and portions of their conversations were recorded. Incredible 5x7" photograph captures and preserves the moment, and we almost wait for their next words. Condition is EX.
