Alex Delvecchio Game Used Stick
One of the most consistant scorers in the NHL in the 1950s and 1960s, Alex Delvecchio spent his entire 22 season NHL career with the Detroit Red Wings. Together with teammate Gordie Howe, he gave Detroit a feared offensive line. Delvecchio helped the Wings to the Stanley Cup as a rookie in 1952, and again in 1954 and 1955. A durable player, Alex played over 1500 games for Detroit, retiring in 1974 with 456 goals and 1281 points in his NHL career. He was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1977. This Northland Custom Pro stick has the knob taped and four wraps of tape on the straight blade. The celluloid accent stripes of red and white only partially remain. The stick is stamped “Delvecchio” and his number “10” in black ink. There are two cracks on the tip of the blade, and the tape on the knob is extremely worn and frayed. The stick shows good game use with puck and board marks.
