This sleeveless 1998 Seattle Mariners jersey makes the "Rodriguez" nameplate on the back look huge. Of course, the man whom the name belongs to, Alex Rodriguez, is bigger than just about anything or anyone the national pastime has to offer. His game-worn Russell polyster home jersey shows light use but heavy laundering. The Russell and Diamond Collection labels on the shirt front are crinkled from many washes. The navy numerals in teal shadowing were always fashion forward, much like Rodriguez's game. Embroidered Russell "R" on the back collar could almost stand for Rodriguez.
