Alexis Arguello Fight Worn Trunks

Alexis Arguello Fight Worn Trunks

Alexis Arguello is a Hall of Famer who overcame adversity to become World Lightweight and World Featherweight Champion. Growing up in Nicaragua, Arguello and his brothers fought the communist Sandinistas on the side of the Contras. One of his brothers was killed in battle. In 88 total professional bouts, Arguello won 80 (64 by KO). Offered are the purple velvet fight trunks, worn by Alexis Arguello for one of his professional fights. These were originally obtained from Mexico, where Arguello spent much time training, and come with an LOA from the owner of Grant Elvis Enerprises, a manufacturer of boxing equipment for pro-fighters, with particular interest in Mexican and Latin World Champions. The front waistband displays his name, “Alexis” in white on red felt lettering. Trunks are lined in black satin, no manufacturing tag. LOA is also signed by boxing expert, Craig Hamilton.
