Alfred E. Neuman "Life Sized" Promotional Statue from Up the Academy (95" tall)

Alfred E. Neuman "Life Sized" Promotional Statue from Up the Academy (95" tall)

Spectacular piece was used to promote the 1980 MAD film Up the Academy. Recently discovered in a Detroit warehouse, the detail is magnificent, from the screwy deals on his chest to the pigeon propped on his helmet. Made of a resin material, the base is solid wood. Incredibly impressive in person. There are three examples of this piece that we know of, one is in collector’s hands; one was displayed for years in the MAD offices, and the other is right here you idiot! EX condition with only some wear to the base. The best MAD piece in the world. Buy it, you fool!!!
