Ali - Quarry II Signed Contract
On June 27, 1972 at the Convention Center in Las Vegas, heavyweights Muhammad Ali and Jerry Quarry battled for Ali's NABF Heavyweight Title. Ali prevailed, stopping Quarry in the 7th round. Offered here is a boxing contract between Ali and promoter Dawn Valley Corporation for this fight, with the document boldly signed by Muhammad Ali and the promoter. The contract called for the fight to be held on June 12, but it was postponed. This contract consists of 10 pages plus a four-page addendum. The contract lays out all terms including purse to be paid. Bold, vintage signature of Muhammad Ali on page 10 with the promoter. Includes all original corrections. Two holes at top. Not creased or torn. Minor edge wear. Clean and scarce. 8 1/2" x 11".
