On May 25, 1965, World Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali defended his title for the first time against the man from whom he had won it a little over a year earlier, Sonny Liston. Ali won a controversial fight, stopping Liston in the first round. Offered here is one of the most famous photographs in all sport, the original photograph of Ali standing over Liston, and shot by noted sports photographer Neil Liefer. The photograph has been signed by Ali and Liefer and is flawless with no rips, tears, creases or soiling. Numbered 74 of 350. 20" x 24". LOA from Neil Liefer on the photograph.
