Allie Clark 1948 World Series Game Worn Cleveland Indians Uniform
The 2016 World Series pitted a pair of franchises with legendary championship droughts, and while the Chicago Cubs finally reached the promised land, the Cleveland Indians must still hearken back to their last title, won in 1948. This set of jersey and pants is a spectacular connection to that championship squad, worn by Allie Clark in that 1948 World Series. The road gray Jersey has "CLEVELAND" individually stitched in two-tone felt letters across the breast of the button front, and the Chief Wahoo Indians logo on the left sleeve with number 31 sewn on back. MacGregor size 44 tag is inside with "Clark 31" tag inside the collar. The pants have MacGregor size 36 tag, zipper front with button fasten, and red piping down the leg. Both pants and jersey have "T'48" tag, and the set simply presents spectacularly. Sourced directly from the family, comes with LOA. A utility player, Clark appeared in 81 games for the Tribe that season, with four plate appearances in the World Series.
