Amazing Boxing Handbill Collection (270)
Monster collection of British handbills from the early 1960’s to the early 1970’s. Many, many world title fights for all weight classes with a handful of double championship bills. Highlights include Muhammad Ali v. Jerry Quarry for June 27, 1972, British closed circuit, Muhammad Ali exhibition advertised as “his only public appearance in London,” and Joe Frazier v. Joe Bugner “World Title Eliminator for the Heavyweight Championship of the World” (July 2, 1973 at Earls Court Arena). Most handbills are Royal Albert Hall with the promoter being Mike Barrett. Overall condition is EX-MT to NRMT with only a few worse.
