32 pieces of original art were all published in the San Francisco Examiner through the years. All are pen and inks of superb quality and most 1920's-30's. Highlights: two PCL era of baseballer Oscar Vitt (1930's), real nice Fats Waller (1964), Ethel Waters (1957), Sam Goodman golfer and Olympian by Bryon Hunt (1931), 1930 Prince of Wales as a golfer with real photo face (by S. Ferguson), 1965 Vietnam War “termites” (1965), Hugh MacKenzie (1930), superb trial of vice king Pete McDonough including “Frenchy the Bootlegger” (huge 20x10” folded), politician John E. McDonald, beautiful art deco Flamenco dancer “La Argentina” by Dunand (1932), two maps of Devil’s Island (1970's), John L. McNab to nominate Hoover for President at the Republican Nat’l Convention (1928), Huey Newton Trial witness Daniel King (1968), important science fiction writer author Garrett P. Servis who’s Edison's Conquest of Mars is 1898 sequel to War of the Worlds (1929 with his small photo), Ogden Mills as boxer was Sec’y of the Treasury under Hoover (1926), Max Schulman who created Dobie Gillis (1957), politician Victor Metcalf (1906), boxer Willie Meehan who twice beat Jack Dempsey, small Glenn “Pop” Warner with real photo head (1928). Size averages and condition is EX overall. A few are photos combined with artwork, many are artist signed. For some of them we have included real photos of the people for identification purposes.
