In December of 1972, the launch of Apollo 17 marked the 11th and final manned mission in the American Apollo pace program. To this day, this mission remains the most recent manned moon landing. This matted photograph of the moon measures 20x16" and is signed on the matte in 7.5/10 pen by the three crew members, Gene Cerman, Ron Evans and Harrison Schmitt. On the matte across the top is printed "Best Wishes to John Nail from the crew of Apollo 17." The photo is in EX-MT condition and this is a presentational piece.
