An evening of rehearsals preceded the actual taping of the "Around The Beatles" TV special on April 28. The fin-ished product was televised in the UK on May 6, and on ABC in the US on November 15. In addition to performing eight songs and a three-song medley, a spoof of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream had the fab four decked out in full period costumes. Comes with a copy of the letter from Rediffusion originally sent with two rehearsal tickets. 4 1/2"x3 1/4".
