Artistic Letter to Christy Mathewson Postmarked Simply "The World's Greatest Pitcher NYC"
Incredible handwritten letter is blessed on the envelope with Matty pitching in pen and ink in his "NY" uniform. It is a love letter to Matty on the eve (postmarked Oct 5, 1905) of his "World Championship" and perhaps his greatest performance ever. There's a request for his autograph, and we can only imagine the result if it had gotten there with this simple address. NRMT.
