Walter Schirra spent 11 days orbiting the earth in 1962. The veteran astronaut is the subject of these (31) wire photos. The lot includes a few laser wire photos and SF Examiner staff photos as well. Standout image here shows Schirra and his family in an oval office visit with president JFK (NM). Also, nice photos of Schirra with his family, suited up with Gemini 6 crewmate Thomas Stafford, and in various stages of take off, orbit and landing. Photos are dated from 1962 to 1968 and measure 7 x 9 to 8.5 x 12.5. The condition ranges from VG to NM.
