A Spalding American Football League football, Joe Foss Commissioner. This football was used in the first pre-season exhibition game played in the Los Angeles Coliseum on Saturday August 6, 1960. This was the first game ever played by the LA Chargers. The game was the LA Chargers vs. NY Titans. The LA Chargers were the winners with the final score of 27-7. Small 1 1/2" leather piece missing on right end of football. LOA included from player Gary Finneran.
